Welcome to The William Alvey Church of England School

We are a busy and friendly school, with the well-being of our children being at the heart of everything we do.

We are a Church school and are keen to ensure that our children understand what being a Christian means. We hope this knowledge enables our children to make informed choices about how they choose to live their lives.  

We believe everyone in the world is individually unique and that every child in our care should fulfil their full potential in all aspects of their lives - physically, academically, socially, morally and spiritually. Our aim is ensure all members of the Alvey community flourish and live life in its fullness.

Our website aims to give you an insight into what life is like at the Alvey. I hope it achieves that but there is nothing like coming to see us in real life. If you are a prospective parent, ex-pupil, or simply interested, please contact the office and a member of staff will happily show you round.
